Ingredients: 4 slices Rustic Country or Ciabatta 1 bar high-quality bitter-sweet chocolate (like Ghirardelli’s) Butter for spreading

  1. Heat griddle or Panini press.

  2. Spread a thin layer of butter on both sides of each bread slice.

  3. Break the chocolate into squares and place on 2 slices of bread, being careful not to place the squares too close to the edges of the bread.

  4. Place the other slices on top of the chocolate and then place sandwiches on the griddle or Panini press and heat until golden brown. If using a griddle, use a spatula to apply pressure to the sandwiches. Carefully flip sandwiches and repeat.

  5. Serve immediately with a large glass of milk.
